1. Construction of contents page
I startedmy contentspage like Istartedmyfront page.To create a sense of
brandingI addedmymastheadtothe topof my contentspage because I
hope to make musicmayheminstantlyrecognisable.Ialsoaddedcontents
nextto itas I wanteditto be clearthat thiswasmy contentspage.The date
and issue numberfeature astheydidonmyfrontcover because theygive
the audience basicinformationaboutthisissue of the magazine andalso
because theyare a code andconventionof musicmagazines. Ididn’tputa
drop shadowonmy mastheadthistime butI didoptfor a small sized
stroke.Withthe wordcontentsI put a size 9 stroke on like Ididwithmusic
mayhembutI put a slightdropshadow on it.I puta white stroke on
issue 1 and the date whichisthe firsttime Ihad addeda stroke that
wasn’tblack.
I addedthe editorial whichappearsonmanycontentspages.Ilike
the editorial because itoffersthe readersaninsightintothe
thoughtsof the editorof the magazine andit'squite a personal
touch.I placedthistop leftbecause Iwantthe reader'seyestobe
drawnto it so theycan readabout musicmayhemsphilosophy
and findoutmore informationaboutwhatisinthe issue.Iadded
a lot of featurestomake it easierforreaderstofinda section
theydesire.Withthese featuresall Ididwasadd a stroke.
I addedsocial medialinksandawebsite soIcan expandthe
reach of musicmayhemandinteractwiththe fans.Social
mediaisa veryimportantpart of today's societyandit
wouldbe a bad decisionnottohave FacebookandTwitter
pages.I placedthese bottomleftbecausetheyare not
worthyof occupyingone of the hotspotsbuttheyare ina
place where theywill be seenbyreaders.

2. I addedseveral imagestomake the contentspage more attractive.I
put a borderaroundthese byusingrectangles.Thisgivesthe images
a funkyfeel andmakesthemmuchmore interesting.Iaddeda page
numberto one of the imagesto relate the picturestothe features.I
alsodidthisby puttingthe image of "Spencer"anda girl band named
"makeup"nexttothe featuresrelatingtothem.
I addedan offerat the bottomrightof the page because thisis
somethingyouoftensee oncontentspages.Itoffersfansachance
to receive everyissue throughtheirpostwhilstmakingaworthwhile
saving(inthiscase 30%) and thisis somethingthatwill helpme
builda loyal fanbase. Thiswill alsoguarantee thatIsell quite afew
copiesof the magazine if I can persuade peopleusingthisoffer.
I addedblackrectangleswhichIlabelledfeatures.This
givesmyfrontcover more of a clearstructure and I like
"more"beingincapital lettersasitemphasisesthe fact
there isa lot of contentin thismagazine.Thisishow my
contentspage lookedand Iam happywithit.
