 1.To gain more information about the prime
company and its product.
 2. To acquire knowledge about how to
coordinate and making relationship with the
retailer
 3.To help company in to some extents by my
research report.
 In fmcg category prime company produces 4 kind of product like
1. Chili sauce
2. Tomato sauce
3. Papad
4. Pickle

 SAMPLE UNIVERSE:
All the retailer under Khurda region are taken as the
sampling universe.
 SAMPLE SIZE:
I have taken 20 sample out of that
 SAMPLING METHOD: Random sampling
 SAMPLE AREA – khurda
 DATA COLLECTION:
PRIMARY SOURCE- I had collected primary data like
customer satisfaction, customer feedback.
SECONDARY SOURCE- Secondary data was collected
through company website, books as well as in company
survey report.

So after analyzing the above information I found out that
 In khorda market , the market share of prime company is very low
 Only prime have captured to the new bus stand, khorda successfully.
 In other market they have little amount of share as the distributor have
not touched to these market.
 In khorda market Lalls brand have got the position of market leader as
its price is very low and its distributor is very effective.
 Although Lalls is a non-brand product, due to its locality it is very
successful
 Lalls is also providing highest profit margin to the retailer.
 Prime is concluded as low medium brand in khorda market.
 Kissan is the reputed and high price brand.
 In papad selling Sriram and Lizat is taking high position.
 The distributor of prime is not providing their product in time to the
retailer
 Company should touch all the retail shop
 The distributor should be effective
 Company should made good strategy to defeat Lall
 company should concentrate how to reduce its price
or give high quantity product
 company need to focus on brand awerness
 they should made packaging and leveling attractive
 company should provide some promotional selling
offer to consumer
 The time duration was short
 As the retail shop is always busy, I am
waiting for more than half an hour in every
shop
 Some retailer behaved me in bad manner
and deny to give the data.
 Some were afraid to providing data.
Though prime company’s market share is very less
in khurda market but nevertheless if company will
focus on some aspects like branding, advertising,
promotional activity, then definitely after some
year he may be a market leader in fmcg category.
