MORT&H. The project was awarded as per ICB Standards. Methodologies were adopted in
the project using latest equipment with best international practice. Responsible for
Preparing Quality Assurance and Testing Program; Supervising tests of soil from borrow
areas, aggregate from quarry sites, sand, bitumen etc. to ascertain their strength and suitability
for use on the project; Inspect Contractor’s field laboratories to ensure adequacy of their
equipment and capability to perform all the specified testing requirements; Supervise the
operation of crushers and bituminous & granular mixing plants and pavers; Review of test
results for manufactured materials required for road and structural works such as bitumen,
cement, steel, etc. Review and acceptance of mix design proposals, laying procedure

lane) Roads in 8 packages having a total length of 904.20 km. Client: Madhya Pradesh Road
Development Corporation Limited. He is in-charge of SH-31 Banher to Maharastra Border (66
km., 4-lane); SH-44 Gairatganj – Silwani – Gadarwada (93 km, 2-nane); and SH-I Manleshwar –
Kasrawad and SH-31 kasrawad – Khargone Road (49.80 km, 2-lane). Review the detailed design
and drawings; Review the Material survey reports, Assist the TL in preparation of Quality
Assurance and Construction Supervision Manual: Assist the TL in preparation of Review
Report ; Carryout any modifications as necessary, Identify location of borrow areas; Inspect
sources of materials and determine their suitability for various components of the works –
embankments, surfacing, and structures; Assess the quantity of materials likely to be available
and the haul distances to the site; Carry out field and laboratory testing of soil samples and other
construction materials as well as the analysis of results and their interpretation; Identify suitable

methodologies were adopted in the project using latest equipment. His duties included

Program, follow the quality Assurance program during Construction Supervision: Setting up of field
