The PWD (B&R) Haryana intended to maintain 11 state highways comprising 595 km length
through overlay provision using part of HUDCO Loan. The periodic maintenance provided
through the overlay (50 to 75 mm Bituminous Macadam + 20 mm Mix Seal surfacing) over the
existing intermediate/double lane roads, which were in extremely deteriorated condition. In
addition to the overlay, the shoulder reconstruction by GSB and WMM also formed part of this
project.

Assurance of the project. Responsibility includes final check up of embankment, subgrade, GSB,
