•   IPC media might be an institution which would distribute my music magazine, they
    distribute a wide range of printed media to a large audience.
•   Their audience is varied and therefore they distribute lots of different magazine types
    and would be able to distribute my magazine to my target audience.
•   The company has experience with all varieties of audience and could help me to
    improve my product to be more specific to it’s desired audience.
•   IPC media is a large popular distribution company and could easily distribute my
    magazine product.
•   They would also advertise my magazine through other media forms such as tv
    advertisements.
•   My product would be distributed into small local stores and also possibly supermarket
    chain stores where they could be purchased by my target audience.
•   A lot of magazines, especially music magazines have subscriptions which would also
    be sent direct to the consumer through the distribution company.
•   A problem with using this distribution company is that it already distributes ‘NME’
    magazine.
•   Most distribution companies try to distribute different styles of magazines to target all
    varieties of audiences and because my magazine is similar to NME they may not
    want to distribute it.

•   Bauer media is another distribution company which might be suitable to distribute my
    product as one of their main focus’s is on magazine’s.
•   They have a wide range of magazine which they distribute which means they could advise
    improvements to my product from the companies experiences with the consumers.
•   Their products are widely distributed through different methods and rather than just using
    stores for my magazine to reach it’s target audience the internet could also be used as this
    company already does this.
•   The use of distributing my magazine online is that it could be easily accessible by my
    target audience because the age group that my magazine is targeted at (14-19) is the
    age group which is most active online, especially using social networking sites which
    can be a great source of advertisement.
•   Internet access ables the consumers to access the product effortlessly and therefore
    will increase sales.
•   Also another of Bauer’s main focus’s is on radio which can help with my product
    distribution.
•   As my magazine has a music genre the experience which this company can offer
    from also distributing radio could improve my magazine.
•   The problem with using Bauer as a distribution company would be that it already
    distributes ‘Q’ magazine which is very similar to my own.
