3. Introduction
Objective type test is defined as one for which the scoring
rules are so specific that they do not allow scores to make
subjective judgements.

4. Meaning
An objective test is a test that has right or wrong answers and
so can be marked objectively.

5. Definition
Acc. to Wiersman and Jurs, “Objective test items are items
that can be objectively scored items on which a person select
a response from the list of options.”

Time saver
Makes marking quick and easy
Removes cramming

Style and handwriting is useless

These are the tests in which the students have to write
answers of some questions in a fixed time.
It allows freedom of response.

Acc. to Arikunto, “Subjective test is generally a test which
needs answers in form of essay, explanation or description.”

These are written.
Students are free to organize their answers.
