 Achievement means one’s learning attainments,
accomplishments, proficiencies etc.
 According to Denis Baron and Harold W. Benard, the
concept of achievement involves the interaction of
three factors, namely,
aptitude for learning
readiness for learning and
opportunity for learning

 According to N. M. Dowinie, “Any test that measures
the attainments or accomplishments of an individual
after a period of training or learning is called an
achievement test .”
 In the words of Water, “Achievement tests are useful
aids for diagnosing a students specific learning needs,
for identifying his relative strengths and weaknesses,
for studying his progress and for predicting his success

 Blue print is a three – dimensional chart giving the placement of the
