CAREER HISTORY
Performance Spine & Sports Physicians, P.C., Pottstown, PA – 2012 to Present
RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIST AND MEDICAL ASSISTANT:
 Perform complex tasks associated with the operation of radiographic equipment to make special
study radiographs in accordance with radiation safety procedures.
 Assist radiologist/physician during angiographic and interventional procedures, utilizing
sophisticated systems to obtain diagnostic images; operate fluoroscopic equipment; utilize sterile
techniques to set up trays and other equipment, handle instruments, operate and monitor
equipment, and alert physician to changes in patient condition.
 Coordinate scheduling and patient flow within the radiographic suites for all procedures.
 Process and collate film; maintain film archival system.
 Greet and prepare patients for the physician. Provide patient mobility assistance, as necessary.
Ascertains and records patient's vital signs and other appropriate information, such as height,
weight, drug allergies, current medications and presenting problem. Prepares equipment for doctor
when no assistant is necessary.
 Assists with minor surgical procedures, diagnostic tests and clinical procedures, including
intradermal, subcutaneous and intramuscular injections.
 Obtain per certification with insurance companies for all diagnostic studies ordered.
 Document procedures and interactions in EMR.
 Assist in orientation of new Technologists, providing ongoing education and training.
