RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIST AND MEDICAL ASSISTANT:
Perform complex tasks associated with the operation of radiographic equipment to make special
study radiographs in accordance with radiation safety procedures.
Assist radiologist/physician during angiographic and interventional procedures, utilizing
sophisticated systems to obtain diagnostic images; operate fluoroscopic equipment; utilize sterile
techniques to set up trays and other equipment, handle instruments, operate and monitor
equipment, and alert physician to changes in patient condition.
Coordinate scheduling and patient flow within the radiographic suites for all procedures.
Process and collate film; maintain film archival system.
