• Thinking and talking about trust will not only
influence our beliefs but also change our
behavior towards trust.

trust, but are part of the process of trusting.

The question is HOW to trust – not WHO can
be trusted.
• Kepercayaan tidak hanya akan memengaruhi
keyakinan kita, tetapi juga mengubah
perilaku kita.

akhir dari kepercayaan, tetapi merupakan
bagian dari proses saling percaya.

13. What Are Important Trust Principles?
In their book Trust Is Everything (by: Anail and Karen Mishra)
define the ROCC of trust:
Reliable, Open, Competent, and Compassionate
• Reliability – doing what you say you’re going to do
(easiest place to start)
• Open – not lying to another person (being honest is
another easy entry point)
• Competence – a person’s ability or skill level to perform
a certain task (setting clear expectations)
• Compassion – requires empathy (passion about
someone’s needs and concerns)
Copyright (c) 2009 The Regents of the University of Michigan Jane Dutton. 2003. Energize Your Workplace. San Francisco: Jossey-Bass.

14. Relationship & Trust
• Some interactions require trust and expertise
• Trust--the degree to which you can believe what
someone else says.
• Trust levels. Trust begins with the individual. It is
not until you can trust yourself that you can begin
to trust others, and encourage acceptance and
support. Trust has to be earned.
» Trust exists whenever you choose to let yourself be
dependent on another person whose future behavior can
affect your well-being.
» Relationships do not grow until people trust one
another.
» When trust is lost, the damage can be temporary or
permanent.
• Berbagai interaksi membutuhkan kepercayaan dan
keahlian
• Trust: sejauh mana Anda bisa mempercayai apa
yang orang lain katakan.
• Kepercayaan dimulai dari individu. Percayai dulu diri
15. • Open behavior can result in a stronger
relationship, based on trust.
• Trust exists when you fully believe in the
integrity and character of the other person or
organization
