What makes this an EP is because it has fewer songs than a full-length album. In this case, there are 4 tracks.

3. The Long Play Album
What makes this album a LP is the fact that is has 15 tracks. It’s a full-length album.

4. Research Question Do they offer consignment to indie artists?
They do not offer consignment. They have suppliers, over 30
of them that keep them in stock with the latest cd’s and
vinyl's.

5. Events Record Store Day was conceived in 2007 at a gathering of independent
record store owners and employees as a way to celebrate and spread
the word about the unique culture surrounding nearly 1400
independently owned record stores in the US and thousands of similar
stores internationally. The first Record Store Day took place on April 19,
2008. Today there are Record Store Day participating stores on every
continent except Antarctica.
Undergrounds is one of the participating stores and advertised an event
where they give their customers a chance to ask for particular albums by
artist to be added to the stores stock.

Would you use this store for a local indie artist’s album release? If so, what would you do?
For instance, would you have an in-store event, consign their album, leave samplers, etc?
Underground Sound is an independent record store that does not follow convention; Top 40,
MTV, Grammys, etc. are all ignored. Focus on customer service and politeness. Vinyl is
championed and encouraged.
I would use this store for a local artist’s album release. Since their relocation, they have
more space available to host an in-store event. I would have an cd signing or meet the
artist's event. Because it’s located in Ann Arbor which is a huge college town with one of
largest universities. It would introduce an artist to a wider audience.
