what makes it an EP as an EP typically has

■ Do you offer consignment to indie artists?
– Radio Kaos offers consignment to
local artists and negotiates with each
artist to work out a deal that works
for them both.
■ How often do marketing reps visit the
store from record labels?
– A marketing rep has not visited in
ten years as the labels stopped
sending them.
■ Are there any events coming up at the
store?
– There are currently no upcoming
events at the store that they are
promoting but they will be
participating in Record Store Day in
April.

at Radio Kaos in 2021.

9. Reflection
1. Would I use this store for a local indie
artist’s album release?
• Yes, I would absolutely use Radio
Kaos for a local artist’s release. This
store has been a staple of downtown
Stevens Point and a lot of people go
to Randy when they are looking for
something new or special.
2. If so, what would I do? For instance, would
I have an in-store event, consign their
album, leave samples, etc.?
• Since this store is small, I don’t think
that I would have an in-store event.
But I would consign my artist’s album
and I would leave samples and check
in with Randy frequently to get any
feedback from customers.
