Do you offer consignment to indie artists?
- Yes, but I try to just buy outright. I rather buy outright than to try to keep up with each
individual sale.
How often do marketing reps visit from the record labels?
- Never. The way the industry has changed over the years, I am more likely to deal with a
distributor or sales rep on occasion.

Are there any events coming up at the store?
- “Not at the moment. Once in a while we will have something going on. Sometimes we
will have artists come perform or have a signing but nothing going on right now.”

9. Reflection
I would 100% use Reverberation Vinyl Records as a store to promote a local indie artist’s
album release. This is a great location, being on a main street and parking is alright. The
store is across the street from a college campus as well. I would host an in-store event for
the artists. Since the owner prefers to buy albums outright, I would deliver a pitch to
accomplish this objective, rather than a consignment. As far as sampling, I would
possibly leave a QR code in-store to my artists website or YouTube where customers
could preview some of their work. Reverberation is a great opportunity for local artists to
gain exposure within the community.
