2. Have you ever launched a product
and no one has purchased it?
I am going to discuss why some
products are a flop and what you can
do about it.
3. Creating a product takes time and
effort and once you have packaged it
together and you then promote it to
people, if no one buys it then you are
left feeling demoralised.
4. It is at that point when you are
vulnerable to believing that there
is an easier way to be successful
online and you go out looking for
another way.
5. The truth is that the product itself
and the information or the
content is usually not the problem.
It's the way that you market it that
makes the difference between
success and failure.
6. Here are some things that you
need to think about if your
product is not selling…
7. Target market
Are you promoting your product to
people who actually need and want
what you are offering?
If you don't target the right market
then it doesn't matter how brilliant your
sales page is no one will purchase it
because no one has any interest in
what you are offering.
8. Sales page
If you have your target market
right but people are not buying
then you need to look at your
sales page.
Is it compelling?
9. Have you focused on the benefits
that people will see if they
purchase your product?
Have you made your sales copy
relevant to your target market
and mentioned the specific issue
that your problem will solve?
10. By just tweaking aspects of your sales
letter you can easily improve the
success of your product.
11. Relationships
Have you developed a trusting
relationship with people who you are
promoting your product to?
If there is no trust then people will be
reluctant to purchase your products.
12. It is extremely important that you work
on developing relationships with
prospects so that there is enough trust
for them to part with their money and
buy your product.
13. Timing
People will buy a product when they
need that particular help.
This will be different for different
people.
Therefore when you promote your
product you need to be aware of
whether people need what you are
offering at that particular time.
14. The best way to find out is to ask your
subscribers or your prospects what
issues they have and what help they
need so that you can offer the right
product at the right time.
15. If you have a product that is not selling
don't forget about it but go through
the suggestions above.
It is a far better use of your time to
tweak and improve an existing
product than it is to scrap it and start
all over again.
