This document provides a design report for a landscape design project for the Canberra Islamic Centre garden. It includes sections on the project overview and background, site characteristics, design brief, research and precedents studied, site analysis, masterplan, design concepts and process. The goal of the project was to create a functional yet aesthetically pleasing landscape for the Centre that incorporated both traditional Islamic and Australian design influences. Research included case studies of Islamic garden designs from around the world as well as local precedents. The design process involved site visits, analysis and developing conceptual designs and a masterplan for the site.
