It is used as a tonic, stimulant and aphrodisiac. 4) Dalmation insect flower heads contain esters

3.  SYN : Scented bdellium ,Gum
guggul Commiphora .
 B.S : Ole – gum- resin obtained by
making deep incisions at the
basal part of stem bark of
COMMIPHORA WEIGHTII.
 FAM : Burseraceae
 Chemical constituent:
steroids,diterpinoids,carbohydrate
,aliphatic esters,Z&E –
guggulosterone.
 USES : Anti-
inflammatory,Anti –
rheumatic,
hypolipidemic & hypo
cholesteremic drug.

4.  SYN : Mumie , Shilaras
 B.S : Herbomineral drug ejected
out of fissures in iron rich rocks
,during hot weather.
 CHEMICAL CONSTITUENT:
Pure shilajit contains

elements, Minerals.
 USES : Tonic stimulant, aphrodisiac

5.  SYN : Insect flower , Dalmination

 B.S : It is the flower heads of
CHRYSANTHEMUM
CINERARIAEFOLIUM .

 B.S : It consists of root of
PLECTRANTHUS BARBALUS .

diterpene forskolin about 0.6%
(coleonol), diterpenoid derivative –

coleon F .roots – coleonol B
,coleonol C , deoxycoleonol &
labdane diterpenoids (1,2,3).
