To Whom It May Concern:
I would like to recognize Kari Roth for the contributions that she made in
my third grade classroom. She was recently placed as a Participant from WVU
with me, and I really enjoyed the time that she was here.
Kari was always dependable and punctual, and she consistently completed all
of the responsibilities assigned to her during this placement. I really appreciated
the enthusiastic, cheerful disposition that she brought into my classroom each
time that she came.
She developed a wonderful repoire with the student! I can honestly say that
the children loved Kari and always looked forward to the days that she would come.
Even though she has moved on to a new placement, the students get extremely
excited whenever they see her somewhere in the building. Needless to say, she
was very kind, accepting, and respectful of every student, and recognized their
individual differences. The children respected her, but also felt very comfortable
around her.
I especially appreciated Kari’s attitude, because she was very confident in
her abilities as a teacher, but also accepted constructive criticism well. She was
very helpful to me, and I really missed her when the semester was over. Kari not
only did everything that I asked her to do, but she also went beyond her
expectations by volunteering to do many things that were not required of her. She
worked well with the children in both large and small group settings, and often
initiated special interventions that she felt would be helpful to the students.
I think that Kari will be an asset to the teaching profession and feel that
she would be a pleasure to work with.
Sincerely,
Cindy Leonard
