I am a very hardworking and determined individual who thrives in work and
academic environments. I work well on my own and within a group, as I am
compassionate and sympathetic to others also I am very friendly and
thoroughly enjoy helping people which is a beneficial attribute especially in a
professional work environment. When set a task I will complete to the best of
my ability and I have shown this as I have achieved good grades even when
faced with difficulties. My motivation to achieve drives me through the difficult
and challenging work I am presented with at A Level. I volunteered at Little
Scallywags day nursery where I helped out and entertained the children every
Wednesday for 2 hours. It has given me experience in a professional work
environment and it has given me experience with young children in
preparation for the career I aspire to do.
Interests and Skills:
I am an active person who enjoys many sports like dance, badminton,
swimming and netball. Taking part in various clubs increased my team work
skills and enabled me to demonstrate my physical ability. I also gained life skills
from my family situation which have encouraged my caring nature as I looked
after my mother for several years giving me the ability to understand people’s
needs and to be very empathetic. I enjoy doing academic activities such as
revision and homework as I love the aspect of learning and challenging myself.
I dedicate a lot of my time to my academic life as I want to pursue a future in a
psychology work environment and I would like to attend a good university. I
think that my personal drive to do well will help me within a working
environment and enable me to attain skills to develop my ability further.
