§ Loyalty: it is a very important value for me. Loyalty creates a
connection and leads to trust. I tend to be very loyal to
everyone and every place. If I am treated right, I wouldn’t
change. For example, I go to the same restaurants I’ve gone to
as a child, I cut my hair the same place, I shop in the same
grocery store.They’ve always treated me perfectly so why
change? Change is good but its nice to form something fixed.
Also, loyalty is very important for business.Without it,
corruption and deceit take over.
§ Determination: it is very important to set goals and keep
working for them.That’s what gives meaning to life. If a person
isn’t determined, he/she will easily give up and never reach
what they are truly meant for; never uncover their true potential.
People face obstacles in life especially when they are close to
the target, giving up is easy, therefore a person must be
determined and goal oriented. Determination is very important
in business in order to strive.

5. Values
§ Kindness: I believe we must always help one other and be there for
eachother.To me, kindness is always the answer, to feel good one must do
good.Treat and respect people how you would like to be treated. Also, to
show gratitude and appreciation is also a form of kindness to me. In addition
to campassion and being there for others. People are not measured by what
they have, but what they give. “Happiness is a perfume you cannot pour on
others without getting a few drops on yourself”– Ralph Waldo Emerson. A
simple gesture of kindness can deeply affect a person.To me, if I manage to
make at least one person smile a day, I’d be happy myself.Why waste your
time trying to bring others down instead of helping them and growing
yourself. No time is wasted when you’re doing good and eventually
everything will come back to you at the right time.
§ Love and forgiveness: love is a force that brings people together. It brings
out the best within us. Everyone deserves to love and be loved because deep
down we are all good people. It’s the feeling of loneliness and emptiness that
changes people and makes them darker.To me love is the light and the
ability to forgive is courage and a form of love. Then comes passion. I live my
life only doing things I love and am passionate about because it makes you
want to improve and grow.Without love, life has no meaning. It opens the
doors to our true nature. I tend to love people unconditionally and put
people’s needs ahead of mine. I am a giver by nature, I give the person I love
my all and tend to see the good in everyone until proven otherwise. Everyone
just needs a little bit of affection, I believe when someone hurts others, it is
because he/she is hurting so why not stand with each other instead of
against.

8. Who am I?
§ I am 21-year-old girl that was raised in Lebanon all my life.
My parents got divorced when I was young, this taught me
how to be responsible at a young age seeing as I was the
older sibling. Family is very improtant to me. It is not only
limited to blood relatives, but people who stuck by me at
my worst. I cherish loyality and kindness. I like to help
others and make people happy. I believe every person is
good but the situations he/she has been in changed them. I
hate judging people because you never know what the
person is going through. I don’t like people around me to
be sad, I would give all my energy to the people I love. I
don’t like to waste my time.Time is limited, so we must take
advantage of everything, live like its our final day because
you never know what life will put in your path. I believe you
learn from the experiences you go through and from the
people you meet. I see the beauty in everything.

9. WhyIE?
§ Seeing as I was in a school full of diversity, I grew up to
be a very social person who loves building new
relationships and interactions. People call me
”sunshine” because no matter what’s going on with me
you’ll always see me smiling. I also love to travel, since I
was a kid, I would travel at least twice a year. I love
discovering new cultures and meeting different people
from various backgrounds.Therefore, I realized IE was
for me, because of its diversity and openness to the
world. People from all around the world go to this
prestigious university. Aside from its incredible
educational reputation, IE opens doors for a person
worldwide and that's what I want. I believe education is
very important but also life is about the people you
meet. IE will give me the opportunity to unleash my
potential to the world. It will allow me to grow to the
person I am determined to become.

10. Whyme?
§ I believe IE is the most suitable university for me because it represents me. I
am that certain to the extent that I didn’t apply anywhere else. My brother is
an undergrad student in the university, and he tells me about how incredible
the program is. It doesn’t only allow you to increase your knowledge but
also allows you to build a social agenda and grow as a person.This is
exactly my goal. I believe life is a balance and IE is the perfect place for
that. I am very hardworking and dedicated. I cannot leave something
uncompleted. I am known for my management skills and life balance. I am
serious when required and super fun when it’s the time. I am also very
passionate and curious. I like to always improve. I am never satisfied and not
easily impressed. I believe that if something is worthy, it requires time and
effort. I tend to shine on the spot. I can plan a whole event in a day. I do plan
and am very organized (I have a life schedule that includes all my outings,
morning routines, sports classes and food planning) but when I am placed
on the spot, I can always find a loophole. I am very good at improvising and
interacting. Anywhere you place me, I can find my way and leave my mark. I
like to be known and love to always be active. I love to be in control but at
the same time I love listening to others.You will never find me complaining
or stressed. I am a bundle of positive vibes. One of my many phrases is
“positive mind, positive life”. I always look for the bright side and I believe I
can be a positive add to this university. In addition, leadership is a quality I
highly cherish as well and I belive IE is the birthplace of several innovators
and leaders.
