I am a highly motivated self-starter academic with over two decades of experience in processing environments.
During this time I have worked within various roles including: MI Business Analyst, Network Administrator, Software
Programmer, Financial Analyst, Projects officer, Accountant and Settlement & Reconciliation Analyst (International

Microsoft Excel has been my passion and I have possessed Excel VBA for over 15 years. I have gained a high level of
expertise in financial analysis and developing financial models. I use VBA programming to get enhanced functionality and

Technical orientated support role that involves the development of Excel spreadsheets, Visual Basic & Access
databases to improve operational processes across the Centre of Excellence Card Acquiring platform.
 Assist the operational teams with identifying improvements and taking a lead role in the implementation of various
projects.
 To undertake the daily operation of the Settlement and Reconciliation processes, ensuring that all processes were
completed in accordance with audit requirements and within agreed service levels.
 To ensure all procedures and training guides are in place to provide the best level of support and training.
Software Development:
 Creation of automated systems to aid settlement of funds between Card Schemes and Merchants and booking foreign
exchange deals. I was awarded an Employee of the Month Award for the creation and implementation of an
automated settlement Excel VBA Macro.
 Written a VBA Excel Macro to enable the team to automatically reconcile more than 70 accounts. This resulted in a
saving of 4 FTE positions and reduced error rates.
 Financial Accounting System software and Inventory Maintenance software with MS Visual Basic, spreadsheets
using VB Macro to perform Financial Analysis functions.
 Assisting our Global Service Center with developing and implementing a program for forecasting data in to Access
database and creating chargeback comparison worksheets. I was awarded a Certificate of Outstanding Support for my
efforts on this project. This project removed a 6 month back log of chargebacks and ensured full automation of the
process meaning all further chargebacks now corrected on day of receipt.
 Following audit issue, a new VBA Excel Marco was created to retrieve MI data Settlement and Reconciliation more
than 238 Accounts – this resulted in being awarded with an Investors Award. This automated a manual process.
 Through various macro based automation projects I saved 2.8 Full Time Employee (FTE) costs in 2011/12.
 I have written VBA Excel Macro automation projects for MasterCard ATM and VISA ATM DCC projects. This was
a new project for dynamic currency conversion that reduced FTE by 4.
