SKILLS & ABILITIES I am a motivated team-player. Over six years in the food and hospitality
industry has taught me the value of being a supportive member of a group-
effort. I have a diverse skillset, pursuing occupations from retail to
hospitality and veterinary care. This experience has helped me to become
adaptive and have a flexible mindset. I face challenges and adversity head-

EXPERIENCE ANIMAL CARE SPECIALIST, CAROLINA RANCH ANIMAL HOSPITAL
July 2014 - Current
Shift leader in charge of a team of 6 personnel. Fostered a positive and productive working
environment by encouraging the professional development of my subordinates and holding
them to a high standard of excellence. Additional duties include animal care and daycare.
Responsible for the health and welfare of up to 150 customer pets at a time, including the
administration of medications and vaccines.
SERVER/HOSTESS, KICKBACK JACK’S RESTAURANT
February 2014 – December 2014
Duties include waiting tables and providing prompt and precise customer service. Balanced
the requirements of the customers with the sales goals of the organization, resulting in
optimum sales volume. Great interpersonal skills fostered strong relationships with

Duties include retail sales, customer service, and product promotion. Additionally charged
with effective placement of merchandise throughout the store to optimize customer
exposure. Position requires subject matter expertise of high-demand products and the
ability to make sound recommendations to customers based on individual taste and style.
Efforts to improve product placement and presentation resulted in a marked increase in
sales during my time in this position.

PHILOSOPHY My philosophy is that effective communication is at the epicenter of a
