Volunteer Experience
I currently volunteer at The Valley Animal Center (a no-kill shelter) on the weekends. It is a great
feeling giving back to the community. I Help in both the dog and cat adoption center there. I help in
many different ways from socializing with the animals to cleaning.
I volunteered many years at my children’s school in the past. I assisted teachers
with correcting homework, entering grades, organizing special events, making copies of
assignments, helping students with their academic work, and other tasks they needed
assistance with. I gained a lot of leadership skills while assisting the teachers. I was
promoted to supervisor at my last job at Rite Aid in a short amount of time. I proved
myself to be able to work as a team and independently as a store supervisor. Expanding
on my customer service skills by including supervision of others has proven invaluable. I
am eager to move on to a company that I can start a career with. I am highly motivated
and enthusiastic. I am always willing to learn and work well with others as well as
efficiently on my own. I assure you that I can do what is necessary to fulfill any
requirements for this position. Any training or certifications that are needed will not be an
obstacle for me to acquire. Flexibility is one of my strengths. Adapting to change comes
very easy for me as I have done this many times in my life. I am eager and enthusiastic
