OBJECTIVE I desire a position at Kent Sate University that will give me the opportunity to learn and
expand my experience serving a diverse population while attending the University. My
major is Marketing and a minor in Economics.
SKILLS & ABILITIES An employer will find me to be hard working, eager to learn, polite and focused on any
tasks at hand.I work well with all types of people and have been told that I bring positive
ideas for improvement to situations. I am able to take on many responsibilities at once and
remain very organized and purpose driven.I have a love for marketing and want to apply

EXPERIENCE CASHIER/MANUAL LABOR January 2015 - Current
I currently work at Kern’s Home and Garden where I am a cashier and do manuallabor as well. I handle the
cash drawer,organize, and file papers for the greenhouse.I lift, move, and work in a fast paced and
demanding environment.I’ve had to learn many types of plants and flowers, memorizing their details and
placement through out the business.
HOSTESS/FOOD RUNNER April 2014- December 2014
I was employed at the newRay’s Place Fairlawn restaurant.My duties included being a welcoming face when
customers enter, helping them with any questions they have,handling complaints or problems of customers
in a polite and satisfactory manner,organizing the seating charts and most importantly training new hires in
several processes. I have been able to meet, talk and interact with a wide variety of people and enjoyed
working with each one.
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT FOR UNDERGRADUATE STUDENT GOVERNMENT August 2013-May 2014
I was employed at Kent State University as the Administrative Assistant for USG. My job duties included
attending weekly meetings, taking and processing the minutes of each meeting, much face-to-face
communication with students whohad questions or needed help navigating their college experience,
coordinated last minute activities, organizing paperworkof the student board,and doing whatever I could to
help make the jobs of student leaders of the university a little bit easier.
VOLUNTEER WORK
I have volunteered with the organization PowerCorps, who delivers programs and activities to those who
have some form of disablement. I have also worked through my church to attend multiple mission trips,
completing various projects and social work
EDUCATION KENT STATE UNIVERSITY
I am entering into my senior year workingon my Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and a minor in
Economics.My current GPA is 3.2.
