1. THE INFORMANT TRAILER SCRIPT
INSERT FLASHBACK.
EXT. VICTORIA PARK. DAY
RONNIE and HARRY are ten years old, playing football in
the park with the local kids. A fight begins between
RONNIE and the kids after a bad tackle on RONNIE, in
which HARRY stops and pulls RONNIE away.
RONNIE:
Oi! What you think your doin!
KID 1:
I got the ball, stop being a pussy…
RONNIE:
WHAT YOU SAY!
RONNIE lunges toward the other child and a fight starts.
HARRY attempts to diffuse the situation and take RONNIE
home.
HARRY:
He aint worth it RON.
HARRY puts his hand out to help RONNIE up.
HARRY:
Let’s head home, my mum will kill me if I’m
late for dinner again.
FADE
PRESENT DAY.
INT. THE WOODHOUSE PUB. NIGHT.
With a briefcase, RONNIE and HARRY enter a pub. Both walk
to the very back to meet another mobster, sitting at a
table.
MOBSTER 1
RONNIE, how are ya son.
2. RONNIE
Same old, same old.
MOBSTER
You got the stuff?
RONNIE
As requested.
RONNIE puts the briefcase up on the table. The MOBSTER
gets up and opens it. He looks up and smiles, RONNIE
smiles back.
MOBSTER
(smirking)
Good job. The boss’s gonna be happy with you.
Both RONNIE and the MOBSTER shake hands.
EXT. HARRY’S HOUSE. NIGHT
HARRY walks up his road to his house.
INT. HARRY’S HOUSE. NIGHT
HARRY turns on light in living room and finds two
DETECTIVEs RICHARD WILSON and REBECCA REID sitting in a
chair, waiting for him.
HARRY
Who the hell are you?
DETECTIVE RICHARD WILSON
I’m DETECTIVE RICHARD WILSON. You’re going to
want to sit down.
DETECTIVE WILSON slams down a folder on the table. ‘HARRY
FLETCHER’ is labelled on the front. HARRY opens and
glances at the folder.
DETECTIVE RICHARD WILSON:
We have so much on you, we could lock you up for
life!
HARRY throws folder angrily.
3. INT. HARRY’S HOUSE. NIGHT
DETECTIVE RICHARD WILSON:
I have a proposition for you.
HARRY looks to the detective.
EXT. PRIMROSE HILL. DAY
DETECTIVE RICHARD WILSON and HARRY sit beside each other
on a park bench. HARRY puts a briefcase between them
which DETECTIVE RICHARD WILSON picks up and walks off
with.
DETECTIVE RICHARD WILSON:
(VOICE OVER)
We’re making you an informant. You work for us now.
EXT. ALLEY WAY. DAY
An illegal drug deal within the organisation occurs in
secret. HARRY, hidden behind a wall, takes photos that
can incriminate fellow mobsters in the organisation.
INT. MOB OFFICE. NIGHT
RONNIE, with his face in his palms as he sits in a large
chair in his office. Two mobsters walk into the room.
MOBSTER 1
Boss, the drug deal was a bust again.
MOBSTER 2
We lost JOEY and CONOR as well.
RONNIE stands up, faces away from the mobsters and
punches the wall.
RONNIE
How can this happen again!
4. EXT. BRENT CROSS CAR PARK. DUSK
HARRY and RONNIE are staring at each other intensely on
the top floor of a car park.
RONNIE:
All this time it’s been you, you’re the traitor!
They both edge closer to each other. RONNIE begins to get
into a fighting stance and HARRY notices and tries to
prepare himself for what is to come. HARRY has a worried
expression, not wanting this to end in violence.
HARRY:
I did this to protect me. I did it to protect us. If it
weren’t for me, we would both be in the whole!
RONNIE:
(YELLING)
You’ve destroyed everything that
we have worked so hard for. You know what this
mob means to me!
HARRY:
They had bad shit on us RONNIE! But now we can
start fresh. Make our own mob with our own
rules. And we’ll do it properly with no mistakes
like this one.
EXT. BRENT CROSS CAR PARK. DAY
RONNIE and HARRY sprint towards each other from a
distance
INT. POLICE STATION. NIGHT
DETECTIVE RICHARD WILSON is found starring at a board
with information regarding the case. In frustration, he
swipes all his things off his desk onto the floor.
5. RICHARD WILSON
(yelling)
This is going nowhere!
EXT. CAR PARK. DAY
RONNIE and HARRY are in a fistfight with each other.
RONNIE knocks HARRY to the floor and in one punch knocks
him out.
INT. RONNIES HOUSE. NIGHT
HARRY is found bruised and bound to a wooden chair. A gun
is held to his head.
RONNIE
(voiceover)
The worst betrayal is when it doesn’t come from your
enemies.
