In my film poster the awards are placed at the top to make it visible for the
viewers to see this is done in order to show the audience that the film will be
of very high quality. The title is the biggest text in the poster as it the most
memorable that the audience take away. The directors name is in the middle
as he is famous and well known, the films made by him have been very
successful this has been done to indicate that the film will be of high quality.
The main actors names are at the top of the credits and have a bigger font to
attract the actor’s fan base. The tagline is below the title it gives an insight of
what the films genre could be. The production companies name is at the top
as Sony is very famous for delivering quality entertainment to its audiences
this will bring more audience to watch the film. The release date is at that
bottom as the audience look and read the poster they will eventually get at
the bottom where the release date is placed making it very visible. The billing
block gives credits for all the people who worked to make the film for
example the producers, editors and directors. The website name is close to
the release date this is done to give audience more information about the
film if they are interested to watch it.
