1. Genre Mood boards (Action
Adventure)
• The mood board below consists of mainly film
posters from different action adventure films. The
posters have bright and vibrant colours such as red,
blue and white which could refer to the films
adventurous and daring mood. Many posters mainly
have blue as their primary colour because blue is
often used to show futuristic technological
advancement in many films therefore this might be
done to give the audience a clue of what they could
expect in the film.

3. Horror Mood Board
• The mood board below has a relatively dark colour
palette. The different shades of blacks, greys and
dark blues could infer to the malevolent themes of
the films. This mood board consists of scenes from
different horror films instead of posters to show the
actual frightening scenes in the films to scare
audiences as that is what they expect to get when

concept of the films. War is used as a constant
theme in thriller movies as there are many fight
scene, explosions and car crashes.

• The majority of the mood board is covered in bright
pinks, white and blue. The colours are referring to
the themes of love and happiness in the films. The
characters in the posters are young men and women
in a relationship. This indicates the audience that
may watch the film as having young characters will
attract younger audiences as they will have
something in common with the films.
