1. Typical Synopsis
Action Adventure
1. Equilibrium- Tom lives in the state of California he lives a normal life like any other typical American. He gets ready to go
for his weekly shopping at Walmart, during the middle of his journey he feels the earth slightly shake. Tom never felt that
before he thought he is dreaming so he continued his journey. He reaches the store and starts shopping, walking with his
trolley towards the cereal isle deciding to which cereal to pick.
2. Disruption of the equilibrium- All of a sudden there is a huge crack on the floor which opens up in front oh him. His
shopping trolley immediately falls into the deep crack. Tom is left with surprise he never encountered such an event in his
life. He ran out of the store as fast as he could. People were running away for their lives he did too.
3. Recognition of the disruption- Tom knew that this was an earthquake, he had experienced minor ones before that
barely changed the landscape of the city. But this one is different buildings are collapsing and people are being caught in
the rubble some people died in front of him. He kept on running to find open land. Tom spotted a huge field about a 100
meters away. He was running as fast as he could as he reached closer he saw hundreds of people standing there waiting
for help. The army was deployed to evacuate civilians from that area. Tom herd the sound of helicopters approaching. He
took a sigh of relief as he saw the helicopters slowly land to evacuate them.
4. Repair the damage- one by one the soldiers are loading the survivors into the helicopters until everyone were in, then
they took off to a rescue camp in Arizona. Tom is in a state of trauma, he is shocked. They reached there and Tom is given
medical help, he recovers in a few days and is living in the camp. After a few weeks all the survivors are taken to Phoenix
to settle there as California is no longer safe to live.
5. New equilibrium- Tom is given an apartment to live in, he begins to like the place even more than his home town but he
still misses it to this day.

2. Thriller
1. Equilibrium- It is 1800. A lighthouse on a barren cliff in Canada. Two lighthouse keepers, German immigrants, are alone
for the winter and effectively cut off from the rest of the world until the ice thaws. Both Wilhelm and Matthias are settled
in for the long haul with warm clothes, canned goods, and matches a-plenty.
2. Disruption of the equilibrium- Then Wilhelm starts hearing voices. His personal belongings disappear from where he’d
placed them, only to reappear in strange spots. He knew something was wrong so he informs his friend Matthias he is
engulfed with fear when he hears these incidents. They start exploring the cliff to see if someone else lives there. It was
dark so they made a fire and walked around, Matthias finds a half human skull next to a tree, it looked like it was lying
there for a while. He reports this to Wilhelm they both run inside the light house and shut the door, they are full of fear.
3. Recognition of the disruption- They both start hearing voices but they don't know where it is coming from. Wilhelm
looks up at the ceiling and finds a ghostly figure on top of them. He screams loudly and they run into a room which they
never entered before, it was dark but they thought it is a safe place to hide and they shut the door. This is their biggest
mistake. They stand at the corner of the room looking if the figure appeared again. There is a knife in the room it moves
towards Matthias and as it comes closer to him they can feel a malicious presence but they stay at the corner not
knowing that the knife is going to poke Matthias. Matthias screams loudly Wilhelm turns around and saw Matthias on the
floor bleeding, the knife went straight into his chest and poked his heart. Blood was flowing out like a waterfall and he
died straight away.
4. Repair the damage- Wilhelm runs outside and he screams loudly for help. A ship was passing by and some people heard
him scream so the ship approached the lighthouse. He is crying loudly and frightened that he might fall victim to that
ghost. The ship reaches the lighthouse and the people rescue Wilhelm and they also take Matthias body and head
towards mainland Canada.
5. New equilibrium- The next day Matthias funeral is carried out and Wilhelm is in deep sorrow. Eventually in few months
he recovers from his trauma and becomes normal but he is still in fearful of what happened to him to this day.

3. Romcom
1. Equilibrium- Joe and Liz have been dating for 4 years and now they are deciding to get engaged but they need some more
money to celebrate the engagement with their friends and families. Joe has a normal 9-5 job which he goes to. He has
been working for the same company for the last 6 years. He was on his way to work like any other day not knowing that
his life will change. He enters his workplace and goes to his desk to start his work. Midday at work his colleague comes to
his desk and tells Joe that his boss has called him so Joe goes to his bosses room.
2. Disruption of the equilibrium- Joe enters his bosses office. His boss is standing next to his table holding a few papers. The
boss tells Joe that he got a promotion to senior management, Joe is full of joy as he will now be able to have a big
engagement party. Joe signs the papers and continues his work. When he gets home he surprises Liz with the promotion.
Liz is very happy and they go out for dinner to celebrate his promotion. The next day joe goes for work, being in a higher
position meant that he will need to work for longer hours and sometimes on the weekend. He starts coming home late at
night while Liz is asleep this continues for a few months.
3. Recognition of the disruption- Liz starts getting upset that Jos does not spend time with her anymore, he does not even
have time to talk to her. Joe spends all his time at work and Liz cant take it anymore she starts crying and calls Joe he is at
work and unaware of what's going on. He picks up the phone and he hears Liz crying, worried about her he takes a leave
for a few days.
4. Repair the damage- Liz tells him about what she feels and joe gets sad he tries to convince her but she keeps on crying
Joe decides to leave his job and look for another one with less work so that he can spend more time with Liz. After his
leave was over he went to his boss and gave a resignation his boss was shocked. He tried to convince Joe to stay on the
job but he didn’t listen and left.
5. New equilibrium- Joe finds a new job and stays there for a long time. Now they have enough money to finally afford a
engagement party. The invitation is sent out their families and friends are full of happiness as they know the engagement
is happening. The engagement day arrives and there is a huge celebration Joe and Liz finally engage.
