The Key Attainments
 A state of the art Heat treatment plant from WESMAN-Germany, went under breakdown, could not be
restored even after 20 days by the senior team had been restored by Me within 4 Hrs. (Logical
approach towards identifying the cause of failure)
 The utilization of two similar key process plants (Vacuum aluminizing), which decides the business of
the entire project, has been increased from 55% ( Almost for two years ) to 95%.Air freight cost of
around 15.0 Lacks / Month brought down to “0”. Established the root cause, incorporated effective
maintenance and monitoring program.
 Fuel expenses of around 20.0 lacks/ Month spent for almost one year, brought down to “0”. Generator
has been used continuously to run a special purpose PC/PU welding machine, where the power
interruption more than five minutes can damage the expensive tool in the machine. By implementing
instantaneous Generator start arrangement (Costing 1.0 lack) and employment of exclusive technician
(24000/Month) in phase 1. In phase 2 an automatic hydraulic retraction system at a cost of 2.0 lacks
has been introduced within three months, and the technicians has been withdrawn.
 Enhanced the production capacity of production line by 40 %( from 51000 pieces/Months to
72000/month), and man power of the same line has been reduced by 30%.
 Customer PPM which was 22000PPM for more than years (the organization was among Top 5 worst
suppliers) has been reduced to 40 PPM within 11 months and got best quality supplier award from a
major OEM after my inception.
 In a key machining line consisting of 14 CNC machines, used for manufacturing safety steering
assembly component, single source for a major auto OEM, the line utilization which was 65% for a
year due to continuous breakdown, has been increased to 98% within 3 months. Data collection on
failures redesigning the machine elements, and incorporating maintenance program based on the data
collected.
 Effectively implemented an oil recovery system from cutting scrap, recovery of around 80 Lts of oil per
Day costing Rs 150 / Liter.
 Planning, execution, erection and commissioning of three projects of machine shop with utilities, with
the total cost of Rs 60 Crores independently.
 Design and Implementation of effective maintenance program for a machining line (with 12 machines)
and the overall line breakdown maintained within 0.5% for more than five years.
 And Many More.
