Aloe Investments No. 27 Pty Ltd a 100% Namibian owned company was created as a single purpose vehicle to participate in the electricity supply industry, and particularly for the proposes of developing a Solar PV power plant in the Rosh Pinah area (mining as the main economic activity) of southern Namibia, Karas region. The power plant is envisaged to be built using the most efficient photovoltaic (PV) technology available and best suited for the Namibian conditions.

4. Aloe Investments # 27 (Pty) Ltd signed a PPA letter of intent with the RoshSkor Town Management, for the development of a 4.9MW PV plant in the Rosh Pinah Town land area. The supply would be to the mining activity in the area, consisting of 2 zinc mines. The agreement entitles Aloe Investments to acquire 15 ha of land in the territory of the town land area of RoshSkor.
The urban area surrounding Rosh Pinah is supplied by a medium voltage line of 66kV.
The mining activity in the area is supplied by a high voltage line of 400kV, supplied directly from Eskom, South Africa, therefore the necessary infrastructure is in place.
Project Specifics
Aloe Investments RoshSkor PV Plant project has been sized in accordance with the recent procurement mechanism requirements for Renewable energy developments in Namibia.

6. The plant will be located in an area with some of the highest DNI levels in the country, in a region considered to have the highest DNI levels in the world.

The site appeared not to have any cultural values during the rapid assessment. Since it is part of a private land, the likelihood of any special utilization for cultural and traditional activities is very low.
