Your company may be in need of someone with my logistics, project management, and administration
experience.
During my 23 year work career in Defence, I have worked predominantly in management positions.
Currently I am a Logistics Supervisor to the rank of Sergeant within the Army. I have worked in Australia
and overseas as a Logistics Supervisor within several Defence units. All positions entailed the
management of multi-million dollar accounts and the coordination of several large logistic projects.
These projects required extensive planning and deliberation through road, air and sea transport and
preparation and forecasting of freight loads and materiel both nationally and internationally.
As a Warehouse and Supply Coordinator I manage transport, the supply chain maintenance including;
requisitioning of all materials, procurement, clearance, haulage, storage, stock control and issuing
systems.
Throughout all positions held in Defence the priority has been complex risks assessments and health
and safety. I believe that these priorities have been inculcated into my work acumen. In addition to
formal qualifications gained through external studies numerous management and promotion courses, I
have gained extensive practical experience in managing budgets in accordance with KPIs as well as
human and physical resources.
I believe that the experiences and qualifications I have accrued place me in good stead for any
Logistical, Supply and Transportation managerial positions. Working in Defence businesses has allowed
me to develop strong all-round leadership, strategy and execution skills. The development of my general
business skills has been refined in busy work environments where it was necessary to adapt readily to
changes in technology.
My Qualifications and Experience
1. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Psychology degree with Honours.
2. I have completed numerous SAP, procurement and promotional courses.
3. I have demonstrated leadership capability in driving operations excellence and meeting goals and
objectives through teamwork, milestone monitoring and quality focus.
