My experience proves I am a uniquely dynamic and well-rounded individual. My experience as
leader is exemplary. During my tenure in the workforce, I have spent years earning my stripes via
hands-on hard work and then by enhancing my knowledge and skills with a graduate level
education. However, that was not enough for me. To serve my country and improve my strategic
and leadership qualities, I spent 6 years in the military which included a deployment to Baghdad,
Iraq. My recent positions include Director and Senior Manager. Although I have several years’
experience with FAR, DFAR clauses, working with bidding RFPs, and LOGCAP IV, the majority
of my experience is handling Commercial IT and Telecommunications MSAs. SA, SOFs, SLAs,
EULAs, EMEA, Licensing, APAC, NDAs, etc. As a former Behavioral Health Specialist, I have
a unique ability to communicate in an effective and confident manner with a diverse population. I
possess excellent verbal, written & communication skills, well-developed competence and
experience in negotiating commercial transactions and/or advising on transactional legal and
business matters, excellent PC skills, including: Word, PowerPoint, Excel. I am a highly
motivated, self-starter with the ability to prioritize, organize and follow through on assignments.
My ability to interface with all levels of organization and external parties is exceptional. I

Senior Contracts Manager

Manages all contract activities including leading a group of six Contracts Specialist/Coordinators.
Create employee and contract performance spreadsheets, along with various pie and bar charts, to
demonstrate in real-time, the current status of individuals and verticals. The contract types
included. A significant part of my position included a strong emphasis on metrics and reporting.
Fundamentally, my role required participating in the business development process was an
important by providing expertise in contract knowledge, and contract negotiation processes.
Provides insight into existing contracts and contracts under consideration for pursuit. Structure and
negotiate complex commercial arrangements, MSAs, RFPs, SOWs, SOs, EMEA, SaaS, IaaS,
PaaS, APAC, SLAs, NDAs, and support agreements, etc., for Managed Services, Colocation,
Securities and other IT services. An essential aspect of my duty included formulating and
negotiating contractual terms in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable
laws and customer and vendor requirements.
Personal goal was to take at least 5 of Verizon’s online courses to improve skills monthly.
Strong team leadership. Ability to present to large and small groups. Provide individual and
vertical performance reporting hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly. Identify areas to improve
internal and external communications. Identify areas to streamline and decrease time spent on
contracting process to increase contract flow process.
Improved overall contracting process by providing import feedback and documentation to prove
which methods were successful. My team was successful in increase output over 50% during my
second year. An example included the cessation of using software applications that were not
performing as designed.

Behavioral Health Specialist (BHS)f

My training and certification as a BHS include intake, assessment, psychotherapy/counseling,
treatment planning, goal setting, evaluations, case management, support, periodic follow-ups, field
and offsite visits. My experience also includes a 1 year deployment to Baghdad, Iraq OIF 2009-
2010. In my capacity, I was personally responsible for providing counseling and supportive
therapy to 3500 Iraqi Detainees, Coalition Forces, and my comrades with the utmost integrity and
nonjudgmental. Presentations and briefings for Resiliency, Suicidal Ideation, Homicidal Ideation,
PTSD, Sexual Harassment, Smoking Cessation classes, and Sleep Hygiene classes.
Tasks included creating and developing classes and briefings beneficial to military personnel.
Setting up and assisting in the operations of a Troop Medical Clinic (TMC) in austere conditions.
Lead advanced convoy missions for multiple annual trainings. Strategic planning for actual and
training missions.
Identified Soldier needs and sought to gain initiated and received approval for an Occupational
Support Group (Anger Management and Stress Relief) for Coalition that provided a positive and
safe outlet to discuss personal Battalion approval and backing for Military and Nonmilitary ere in
during deployment in an austere environment. Gained to the trust of medical providers to develop
plans for treatment without a great deal of oversight.
The results of my work improved relations for lower enlisted to high enlisted, and enlisted with
officers. Military personnel who typically would not seek psychological services, became more
comfortable and felt less stigmatized due to the manner in which services were presented.

Director of Terminal Contracts

Terminal in this context refers to the agreement transactions for telecommunication devices and
their associated components. In this case cellphones, modules, applications, cable boxes, routers,
etc. It is important to know that Huawei was for the world's 2nd largest telecommunications
company - at that time. As Director for Terminal division for US and Canada. Due to language,
cultural, and legal differences between North America (NA) and China, I was successful in leading
a team of 6 Contracts Manager, Coordinators, and Specialist from China. My position required
that I work directly with customers, as it is a cultural custom to meet and/or speak to the customer
face to face (F2F). The majority of the transactions were international commercial agreements.
Procurement and Finance with US customs and expertise in negotiating Agreements. Additional
responsibilities included assisting the Chinese software team with developing a contracts reporting
and tracking system, and handling department and performance metrics reporting.

I functioned as a self-employed legal services provider. I contracted with attorneys, staffing
agencies, and individual companies to assist with a variety of legal needs including trial/litigation,
corporate paralegal, contracting and documentation review and negotiations. Areas of law included
corporate, criminal (federal and state), bankruptcy, condemnation, real estate, personal injury and
family.
Tasks included research, review, intake, client and witness investigation, evidence preparation and
compilation for trial and litigation purposes. All work was to be handled in a confidential and
timely manner.
I was able to utilize by business organizational skills, and ability to communicate in a discerning
manner to help negotiate pleas, write and present proposals, marketing, and establish policies and
procedures for departments and smaller firms.
Successful results included successful trial and client outcomes, improved contracting processes,
document review and compliance. It is in my opinion that the longevity of my career speaks
volumes in that most of my clients were repeat and referrals.
