Personal Statement:
I am an extremely experienced manager and team player. I have a proven track record
of implementing and achieving high standards where new starting contracts are
concerned. I have been a key part of many teams changing the lay-outs of the
warehouse and making the flow better and increase pick and putaway rates, I could
bring those skills to your business and achieve real targets and help maintain and
improve standards.
I am a fully qualified Racking Inspector and Repairer to national SESS levels.
I have completed an NVQ Level 2 in Warehouse Storage and Distribution with the hope
to start a Degree in Warehouse Management through the Open University as well as
looking to start doing my PMP, prince 2 and six sigma .
I have held a very strong list of licenses during my time with DHL so understand how the
operation works. These include; Reach Truck, Counter Balance, Roller Truck, LLOP,
Pallet Stacker, Sissor Lift, Cherry Picker, PPT, VNA and Fork Lift Truck.

I am Mat Flow, inventory and Admin First Line Manager, I have a team of 6 people, on a
daily bases I need to ensure that the stock is corect labbeled in the correct location and
complyes with SMF. My team and I ensure that we are sending the stock that is needed
over to plant where it is then taken to the line, so we need to make sure that we are
sending what the customer want’s and in a timely manner.
I also have to ensure that we follow process and FIFO is being adheared to as this
could cause problems on the line if there was evry a part re-call. I have to make sure
that we are running the Metrics and checking anything that’s in pending, overflow ,
wrong lcation and any parts that have been in the warehouse for more than 7 days.
I also look at the planning of the warehouse to see if there is anyway we can change the
layout to make the flow better. If there are any coin changes I need to make sure that all
the revelent people are aware and we do not send the new level before it has gone live.
On the goods in side of my job I need to make sure that we are booking in stock on to
the system correct and in a timely manner to ensure that we do not slow the operation
down and get any parts that are needed over on the line booked in and sent as fast as
we can, but not loseing sight of following the process thats in place.
In my time at Fradley I have built up a good working relationship with the analyst making
2. sure that if there are any parts that are needed as an urgent are fast tracked over, Also
informing them of and shortages on any of the delivers we may have.

sure rules are adhered to by everyone on site but also take corrective action where
necessary. I also head team briefs at the start of the shift and explain to the team what
roles they will be performing, it also gives the team an opportunity to talk to me and ask
any questions relevent to the day ahead. I hold 'one to one's' and promote a rotational
system, when the operation allows, to give the colleagues fair access to different roles
within the operation.
It is important on site to have open communication with other departments so
operational needs can be met by re-deployment if necessary.

I was responsible for making sure that any accidents that occurred on site were
documented correctly, using the 'accident packs' and then recorded on the SHE Portal
and the local spreadsheets. I made sure that management tasks and audits were carried
out correctly and if they have not been, it was my responsibility to chase them up. I was
involved with the general audits that are carried out around the site, including, fire
extinguishers, fire exits, tables, lights, 'spill' kits, racking and first aid boxes among
others. I checked each unit and the information I collected was logged onto
spreadsheets and then I organised any necessary repairs or the appropriate contractors
3. to carry out said repairs. It was part of my job to liase with senior management and when
the Health and Safety Manager is not on site, I stepped up to her role.

During my time at HP, I was directly responsible for making sure that products were
booked into the warehouse correctly. I also had to write a daily report which included
everything that entered and left the warehouse, any reported losses, shortages and
damages. The report was sent to Senior Management including the HP Account
Manager for the UK and the client. I was the driving force behind the 1st stock check at
the Lutterworth depot and we achieved a 99.96% accuracy rate, which is still standing as
the highest accuracy rate for any HP start up in Europe.

so as to optimise space and picking rates.
