A game through Wordwall tool.
Procedures
ROUTINE (5 minutes):
I say “hello” to the children and ask them how they are and what did they do at
the weekend.
Scaffolding strategies:
Asking
answering
Transition comment:
“How nice to see you all together! I'm glad you are doing very well! Now we are
going to warm up with a contest game. Are you ready?”
WARM- UP (10 minutes):
“Let’s play “Superhero contest”. Have you ever participated in a contest? (If the
students answer “YES”, I’ll say "Good! What was the contest about?” / If the
students mention “NO”, I’ll say “very well, this is the opportunity to participate in
a contest!"). In this game we are going to put our knowledge of what we have
learned in these last weeks. In the contest there will be questions with the
description of a superhero, the verbs and adjectives that we have been seeing
this week will appear. We need to pay attention to the data to be able to figure
out what superhero is involved. Are you ready? OK! Let’s go!

Transition comment:
“Did you enjoy it? Hope so! “Ok, now let’s present our projects to the class. I have
seen the ones that you have sent me and you have done an excellent work”.
PRESENTATION (5 minutes):
“Very well, we have been seeing throughout these weeks the abilities and
adjectives that describe a superhero. For example: Superman is strong and he
can fly and lift heavy thing.”
“But as you already know, you don't need to be a superhero and have
superpowers to deal with bullying. Of course it takes courage to confront the
"villains" of bullying, whether in our school or in our neighbourhood. But it is very
important to talk about this issue and confront it or discuss it with our teachers
and parents.”
Transition comment:
“Ok. You were working in groups last week and you were carrying out your
projects on this important topic. Now each group will present their project to the
class. Are you ready?”
DEVELOPMENT (PRACTICE and PRODUCTION) (15 minutes):
The students will show their team project to the class and at the end of each
presentation I will ask some questions. "Let's get started! Team number 1: What
is your project? / Show us your project.” Then I ask some questions for all the
students, for example:
What did their superhero do? / What can their superhero do?
What adjectives define their superhero?
Well done team 1"
Scaffolding strategies:

Transition comment:
“I congratulate you for your projects! All of you did a great job! Now it's time to

CLOSURE (5 minutes):
Finally, I say “Now it’s time to go. Bye bye”, “See you in our next live lesson and
I hope you have a nice week "
