All of us are unique and our personality
styles differ from one another. In this part
of harnessing your career, I’d highly
recommend that you engage yourself with
a personality test such as DISC
(Dominance, Influence, Steadiness and
Compliance), MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type
Indicator) or other equally good tests to
better understand yourself.

All of us are supposed to be productive and
companies today never fail to emphasise
about productivity. The logic behind it is
simple, when productivity increases, costs
will reduce and eventually the most important
thing will go up - profits. Productivity is
therefore crucial to any business. It is also
important for individuals who want to make a
difference in their career.

Is perseverance a skill or an attitude? In my opinion, perseverance
is an attitude. We don’t give up when the challenges are mounting
high, especially like when Sir Winston Churchill was facing the war.

careers, be it while working for others or while owning their own
businesses. What separates them, the winners from the losers is
their ‘fighting’ spirit’ to stay on course and to battle it through.
