2. PHOTOSHOP – Movie Poster
Shot two pictures of myself behind a
white background and cut myself out of
the image and pasted it on Photoshop. I
did this twice before removing the color
and adding blur on the second image.
I started
adding mist to
the image to
compliment
the colors on
myself. This
was so that
the green hair
would not
become an
isolated color.
I added the foggy city background to
match with the shadowy specter in the
background and the fog around the
side of the image.
After the main poster design was
complete with no real fuss, it was
down to adding the text before
completion which was just a
slightly drop shadowed caps text
with some texture added.
I reckon the most struggle I
had was with the text.
Positioning and visuals for text
is definitely something to
improve on
3. Adobe Premier Pro – Movie Trailer
In my approach to the Movie
trailer, my main goal was to
have the scenes match with
the music. I did this by timing
shots with the music.
I changed the speed of a lot of
clips to add to the drama of
certain scenes.
Throughout editing my Movie trailer, I recorded
some shots, editing at college and then going out to
record more because of actors’ tight schedules
during A-Levels.
We recorded using stabilizers and iPhone cameras
set to landscape. This allowed for good mobility.
