2. To produce our music video
we the equipment our college
provided us with and
everything was saved onto a
memory and then onto a video
drive.
3. We used YouTube a
lot to get inspiration
but most of the time
we posted video off
you tube onto our
blogs as part of our
research
4. Whilst editing we decided before
hand that a filter was needed as
some footage had very high key
lighting. So we used YouTube to
help us on final cut pro to find how
use colour pickers and adding
filter.
5. I used Photoshop to
produce the digipak and
I added filters by putting
a shadow over the image
6. I added a filter over the
front to create the same low
key lighting effect as done
in the music video
I also used the colour picker on Photoshop to pick the colour from my
hair and used it as a block colour for the back. I also changed the
opacity to make the brick come through so there is consistency. I also
used the colour picker on the bricks and that colour is used on all of
the text.
7. With the inside I used Photoshop again and put a filter on
and also changed the original picture from right to left so
that the CD could be placed in the empty area. On the CD
I used a the ‘brush’ icon to create a a messy design over
the it to match the urban graffiti effect we were aiming for
8. Again with the Magazine Ad I
used Photoshop and cut around
the main image and placed it
on the right hand side of the
Magazine Ad. For the stars,
again I used the brush icon so
that it would match the main
font and to make it more
abrstract
9. Final cut pro.
We used this to
edit our entire
music video.
A lot of footage had
to slowed down to
get in in sync with
music so we used
final cut pro to
change the speed
10. As I mentioned earlier, we added effects
to all our footage and we did this on final
cut pro.
