Regression analysis: Simple Linear Regression Multiple Linear Regression
Media question 7
1. Looking back at your
preliminary task, what do
you feel you have learnt in
the progression from it to
the full product?
2. From doing my preliminary task at the very start of the course, I
feel I have progressed a lot when looking at my final magazine.
I have learnt how to use Photoshop and Indesign which I never
knew how to use before I started.
I have learnt how to cut out an image correctly and edit it to
make it look really good. You can see the improvement of my
cutting out from my preliminary task to my final magazine.
I have learnt that you should create lots of layers to create
something like a magazine front cover because then it is easier
and simple to edit or delete a specific thing that you don’t like or
want to change.
I have learnt how to use a lot of tools on Photoshop such as
editing text, using different fonts and changing colours.
3. In my preliminary task the text was very basic as I didn’t know how
to change it but in my final magazine I kept a font theme going
throughout my magazine and I knew how to but text effects on
the words.
You can see how much my knowledge on this improved because
my masthead was created with lots of different text effects which
I would never have understood how to do that at the start with
my preliminary task.
Overall I think I improved massively and developed my skills in
Photoshop and Indesign.
4. This is my preliminary task front cover of a magazine:
6. You can see the improvements I have made on
the way to making my final front cover magazine
because my preliminary task front cover is
shocking whereas the final front cover of my
magazine has lots of effects, better cutting out is
over all the better front cover because my skills
on Photoshop improved.
