Execute presidential charge for reviewing all candidates seeking the position of Vice President of
Business Affairs/CFO. The committee is responsible for reviewing all applicants in order to
recommend 3 to 5 highly qualified candidates for the President’s review.
Member, Banner Implementation Team, 2013-2014
Organized, led, and coordinated the initial implementation of the Texas A&M-San Antonio’s
student data system as a representative for the Office for Student Business Services. Committee
was charged with working with Ellucian consultants to outline and develop a process for
implementing our own data system.
Member, University Parking Appeals Committee, 2013-2014
The committee was charged with approving, denying or modifying parking citations through a
paper appeals process. We created an electronic submission process to streamline efficiency. As
a committee we recommended and implemented the electronic process which reduced the wait
period for our University community.

I am responsible for the overall vision and direction for the Office of Student Veteran Certification
Services. Oversight and management for all federal and state VA Education benefit programs. For the first
18 months, I additionally assumed the leadership role and overall management responsibilities for the
office to include Student Affairs Leadership Team and Enrollment Management Team. My team consisted
of a school certifying official and 6 student workers.
● Reorganize, manage, and enhance the Office for Student Veteran Certification Services
to ensure accountability for multiple stakeholders
● Address, correspond, and author emails, policies and procedures to promote an active
dialogue with consistency
● Upgrade our webpages to design a process that assisted and encouraged our veterans
