Today we were introducedthe newproject – culture of the digital age.We were toldthatwe had to
create at leasta 10-minute documentaryaboutanythingthatmeetsourclients'interests.Inorderto
findoutmy client's needsandwants,Icreateda surveytofindout theirdemographicsandtheir
preferences.

Soonaftercreatingthe survey,Ireceivedalotof responses.Thisgave me aclear ideaof whomy
targetedaudience is.Byreviewingmyanswers,Iwasable tostart my actual researchfor thisproject
and to start planning.The audiencepreferenceswere dark,true crime,serialkillerthemed
documentariestherefore,Iusedthisinmyresearchandmade ideasrelatedtothese topics.

Today,I am finishingoff mytargetaudience research,andworkingmywayto start myrationale.By
doingthis,Iwill be collectingall typesoff data,forexamplethe variationsof documentarygenres
and themes,whatmyaudience prefers,multiple ideas,mymainidea,whythiswillattractmy
audience,whysome ideaswon’tworkandhow my mainideawill playoutasa visionandhow Ican
make it a reality.

usedand the pros/ cons of these piecesof equipment.InthislessonIfinishedthe PowerPoint,andI

Today I hadtrouble withteamsasit kepterasingmywork,specificallythe workIwassupposedto
sendto Robin,the cameraresearch.Because of thisithad pushedme back andmade me delay
some workthat should have beendone.

isa dome shapedbuildingwherewe canproject360 camera footage,thisisinterestingaswere ever
we lookedinthe roomthere wouldbe somethingdifferentoneachside of the dome.

to remindmyself howmuchtime Ihave withthisprojectandnotwaste too much time onresearch.

I have finishedmyrationale/pitchtoday. InlessonIwillpresentmyPowerPointtosome of my
classmatesandhopefullyreceive feedbackfrommyaudience.AfterIhave presentedmypitch,Iwill
needtocreate a feedbacksurvey.Bydoingthis,itwill helpme asitwill give me anideaof what my
audience wouldlike,anditwill putme onthe rightpath to continue withpostproductionand
recording.

I startedwritingmyscriptfor my documentary.TodothisI useda software calledCeltx,ithelpsme
write upscriptsin the correct format.

I beganto start recordingmyfootage andfindingtime formycast to planout the timesanddates.I
wouldsayfor recordingitwill take upto 2 weekstogatherall the footage.The firstscene Idecided
to recordwas the interviewsasthisiseasierand everyone wasfree onthe nextcouple of days.

I have done all my recordingforthisproject,andI am transferringitall to mycomputeras it makesit
easiertoimporton to premierpro.While movingmyfootage tomycomputerIhad a little trouble
withstorage as I was alreadynearlyfull.Therefore,Ihadtoget ridof some pastwork that I didn’t
needanymore.

Today,I am editingmyfootage onpremierpro,andneedingtospeedupthe processasI don’thave
that much time left.I'm startingwiththe openingandthe montages.

I have edited4minutesof myfootage;however,Iamhavingdifficultytryingtoimportmyacting
scenesastheywon't loadon to premierpro.Therefore,Iamgoingto have to leave itat 4 minutes
and make sure it isas perfectas I can possiblymake it.
