JOB’S DIMENSION
Annual budget of EPT/SUB FSV Vessels: 100 to 200MUSD approx.
Supervision of at least 2 vessels for subsea works.
ACTIVITIES
HSE
Active participation in the preparation and analysis of the work (RLO, ARO, ADC …) while maintaining the HSE rules of the group.
Ensure all the subsea activities are prepared and executed in an efficient and safe manner, following Company Rules and General
Specifications, as well as Oil&Gas standards. Be in charge to make sure that all anomalies are reported, followed and closed.
Active participation in the preparation and analysis of the work (HIRA, RLO, etc) while maintaining the HSE rules of the group.
Ensure that the facilities are in compliance with the specification of HSE of Group TOTAL and internal rules SIM of TOTAL EP ANGOLA.
Ensure that Equipment, Personnel & Material are fit-for-purpose (certificates, trainings, etc)
Available to be a Duty Officer for EPT/SUB
As Operation Manager
Insure a good coordination between onshore and offshore operations, and that any engineering requirement are done to support the onshore
& offshore operations, as per planning and budget;
Actively liaise with EPT/SUB/GEOM, EPT/SUB/DROV, FCP, PBF, other projects when applicable, various Blocks for arbitration when required
Provides operations and/or projects coordination to ensure that workscopes are identified, agreed and safely executed.
Manage the Installation Engineers, the Cargo Barge Leader, and Logistic Coordinator (until this role is transferred to Logistic), as well as FSV
Superintendent; Support FSV Superintendent for the management of Offshore Crew;
Provide long term and medium term view for FSV Superintend to make sure FSVs planning is done in accordance with Construction Dpt,
Drilling Dpt, Subsea exploitation, FPSO and Projects.
Be ready to replace FSV Superintendent during absence (offshore trip, logistic issues, workload)
Liaise daily with the vessels’ SUPT (via FSV Superintendent), Installation Engineers. Maintain records of progress and provide updated status
information to planning coordinator.
Interface with all specific queries from Company specialists. Main matters of concern are Safety, QA, Survey, ROV, Marine and Subsea
(manned or unmanned) operations
Monitor the good performance of the activities in compliance with the operational procedures and project documentation approved by
Company
Control and approve procedures in consultation with all involved.
Control report and feed-back dossier that document the works concluded.
Verify that the services performed by the contractors comply with the terms and conditions set out in the contracts.
Check and approve Company and Contractors supplied equipment necessary for the execution of the works
Liaise with EPT/HSE Service for the reporting and follow up of anomalies reports, near misses, incident, dangerous occurrences and other
information, resulting from activities under his scope of work.
Manages contracts under his responsibility (Vessels, Cargo barge, Engineering, Seafastening & Fabrication), liaise with Contractor’s for all
contractual and costs matters.
In coordination with DT/ACT, manages ongoing and forthcoming Call For Tenders applicable to the FSV Ops Service.
Act as Total EP Angola Diving Competent Person when applicable and if training permitting
CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT
High volumes of work related to the development of Block 17 field mainly.
Deepwater IMR activities (1400m avg) through use of FSV crane vessels.
Interfaces with various internal and external entities of Total EP Angola
PURPOSES
Ensure that any requirement is covered to perform the load-out and installation of TEPA structures onshore and offshore, and that materials
Procurement, Equipment Testing, Construction and Offshore Installation necessary for the realization of EPT/SUB projects are performed
within technical specifications, quality, HSE standards, on time and budget.
Ensure the marine installation activities are prepared, reviewed and enforced for projects activities and routine works.
Ensure a constructive relationship between the different intervenients – internal, external.
PROFILE REQUIRED
Education: Naval or Civil or Mechanical Engineer graduated or equivalent or significant oil&gas experience
Minimum 12 years experience in supervisory position in offshore and subsea project management, construction, installation, marine operations
and vessels management, including several years in a contracting company (construction, installation and offshore operation).
Experience project management and as site representative will be appreciated. Skills in primavera are mandatory.
Fluent in English, knowledge of French and/or Portuguese is a plus.
