orderto achieve the postercreated,digipak andthe final musicvideo.Aswellasthisthe technology
usedaidedusas a group to create a productionandadvertisementsof professional quality.
Hardware:
We useda range of camerasto aid usin thisproductionaswe usedcamerassuch as the cannon EOS
700D andthe cannonXA25. We usedthe cannonEOS 700D to helpwiththe photographyside of this
productionaswe usedit to gainpicturesfromoutside aswell asinthe studioand the manysetting
on the camera allowedustogetpictureswitha professional qualitynomatterthe external factors
such as lightingasIusedit inboth an outside andstudioenvironmentwithavarietyof conditions.
On the otherhand we alsousedthe cannonXA25 as itworkedina similarwaywithsimilarbenefits
but worked betterforrecordingsoitwas mainlyusedforgainingfootage forourmainmusicvideo
as we alsousedit inrough cuts andotherpreliminarytasks.The CanonXA25was especially
beneficial asthe straphelpedwithcapturingthe handheldshotthatwere capturedhoweverwe
were still able tocapture stable shotswiththe use of a tripod.Aswell asthiswithinthe studioIwas
alsoable to use a lightdeckto control the lightingthatI desiredinthe studioforbothphotography
and our musicvideoasitofferedarange of coloursas I was able totake picture withlightsof
contrastingdifferentcoloursinthe backgroundtohelpwithinterestingphotosandshotswithinthe
musicvideo.
Software’s:
Thoughtthisprocessmanydifferentsoftware’swere used asmostof our workwas conductedonan
apple mac computeras we were able toobtainqualitysoftware’sonthisproduct.While editingwe
usedfinal cutpro as it helpeduswithaprofessionalplatformforeditingtotake place,more overwe
alsousedadobe Photoshopasthistoo wasan easysoftware tolearnto use as it alsohelpedusto
create our digipakaswell asour magazine advert(poster) toaprofessional qualityaslayersare
clearlysetoutone by one so that youcan see what youare editingwithinyourprojectonthe
software.While editinginpost-productionIusedfinal cutpro10.2.1 in orderto construct the music
video.The layoutwas easyto understandandeditwithas layerswere easyas a varietyof effects
that aidedmygroupwithour editingasitcomplementedthe vibrantcolouredstudioshots
captured.Duringeditingwe were able touse dissolvestoaestheticallylinkshots.

changinganythingwiththe picture itself,howeverwhenIneededtoeditapicture itself Iwould
usuallyuse the magicwandto cut out imperfectionsaswell asthe magneticlassotool tocut around
small details sothe picture wouldcome toa higherquality.Furthermore Ialsoimplementedmy
ownlogointothe textof my digipakaswell asmymagazine advertforsynergy.
