Team MOJO presented their photo recognition Android app called CARVIEW. The app aims to help non-car enthusiasts identify vehicles they see, obtain specifications, and connect them to dealers. By using photo recognition, the app functions as "The Shazam For Cars" - allowing users to point their phone at a vehicle to instantly lookup details and dealer information. The team's presentation introduced their organic persona "Jay", a 25 year old analyst in Detroit looking to buy his first car. Currently, Jay finds the car buying process restricted by having to visit dealerships and difficult to compare options while driving. The team's MVP would allow Jay to identify cars that interest him on the road in order to easily research and compare models.
