2. On 7th April the annual Day of health
was organised by our Science
teachers. Because there was a one
week lock down at the time, we got a
variety of activities and tasks to do on
our own.
Pupils from class 7 searched for
information about benefits of fruit and
vegetable and create a fact file cards.
3. ONION
Onions have got a lot of
vitamin C. Raw onion
keep your heart healthy.
They reduce risk of
cancer, lower blood sugar
levels and improve bone
health.
4. CARROT
Carrots are healthy because
they support healthy eyes.
They are a good source of
antioxidants and vitamin E. If
you eat a lot of carrots you
have got healthy teeth and
gums, skin and hair.

Red peppers have got a
lot of vitamin C. Red
peppers are rich in
antioxidants. They are
very good for you heart

Potatoes are rich in
vitamins, minerals and
antioxidants, which make
them very healthy.

Cauliflowers have got a lot
of vitamins and minerals.
Cauliflowers are a great
source of antioxidants,
which protect your cells.
Children should eat a lot of
these vegetable because
they keep you healthy.

Pumpkins have got a lot of
fiber and vitamin C. They have
got a lot of vitamin E and A.
Pumpkins are good for our
eyes and they help speed
weight loss. They are tasty and
full of iron and other minerals.

Corn has got a lot of
vitamins B, which are
important for our general
health. One of the best
health benefits of corn is to
prevent cancer. Corn is also
good for pregnant women
and small children.

Parsley is good for bones,
kidneys and heart. Parsley is

breath. Nobody likes to have
a conversation with a person
who has bad breath. Parsley
is also good for diabetics.

Great for the anemi. They
