• Superficial part from maxillary process
of Zygomaticus bone and Deep part fro
m Zygomatic arch of temporal bone.
• Ramus of mendible
• Elevate the mendible to close the mout
h.
• Mendibular br. OF Trigeminal nerve.

4. •Temporalis
• Temporal fossa of skull
• Condensing to a tendon into coronoid
process of mendible. .
• Elevate the mendible to close the mout
h and pull the mendible back to retract.
• Mendibular br of Trigeminal nerve.

5. • Medial Pterygoid
• Superficial head from maxilla and Deep h
ead from letral pterygoid plate of sphenoi
d bone
• Ramus of mendible near to angle
• Elevate the mendible to close the mout
h
• Mendibular br of Trigeminal nerve

6. •Letral Pterygoid
• Superior head from greater wing of sphenoid
and inferior head from letral pterygoid plate
of sphenoid bone
• Both part converge into a tendon on neck of
mendible
• Bilateraly push the mendible forward to protr
act and uniletraly side to side movement.
• Mendibular br of Trigeminal nerve.
