Abstract
Our project is based on the magnetic attraction principle to absorb oil from the sea water. Main
purpose of our project is to save expensive oil and the water animals especially spices of fish to
extinct. in this project we used the magnetic disc at the corner of the surface of structure of body.
and we can collect the oil at the container of the ship.

Oil wastes that enter in to the ocean coming from many sources some may accidentals,
spills leaks and some being the result of chronic and careless habit in the use of oil and
oil products.
Most waste oil is received from water, drainage from cities and farms untreated waste
disposal from factories and industrial facilities.
When oil is spilled in the ocean it initially spread in the water on the surface depending on
its relative density.
Most waste oil in the ocean consist of hydrocarbons and other harmful content.
After a few time 20-40% of oil mass is turns in to gases and the slick loses most of the
it’s water soluble hydrocarbons, the more viscous compound that slow down the oil
spread across the water.
In a 10minutes period 300gallons of oil can spread to a radius of a160feet.
(1gallon=4.54litre).
In the sea water oil is depositing from oil industry where water is injected into the reservoir,
other source of oil extraction in sea water is leakages from ship spare parts, refinery, and
oil during excavation plant.
Crude oil: every day, 31.5 billion gallons are transported over the sea by ship; 2.73 billion
gallons are consumed each day; there is also an estimative that 100 million gallons are
spilled every year in marine environments.
Nature has its own chemical process to minimize oils impact in sea water, but its didn’t
extract 100%.In our project try to minimize this problem and collect as much as oil is
extract.
According to the report, the main categories of sources contributes to the total input as
follow
Discharge from consumption of oil: 37%
Accidentals spills from ships: 12%
Extraction of soil: 3% Natural spills: 46%

Abstract: The present study was undertaken to evaluate the capacity of absorption of crude
oil spilled in seawater by chitin flakes, chitin powder, chitosan flakes, chitosan powder,
and chitosan solution. The result showed that, although chitosan flakes had abetter
adsorption capacity by oil (0.397± 0.030 grams oil per gram of adsorbent), the biopolymer
was sinking after adsorbing oil. Chitosan solution did not present such inconvenience,
despite its lower adsorption capacity (0.013± 0.001grams oil per gram of adsorbent). It was
able to form a polymeric film on the oil slick, which allowed to restrain and to remove the
oil from the samples of sea water. The study also suggests that chitosan solution 0.5% has
greater efficiency against oil spills in alkaline medium than acidic medium.

4.1 Designof safety
The spill can affect organism by physical and toxicological process causing and impact
on the environment with disruption in the food chain.
Set and follow strict protocols for the safe operation of plants and safe handling of
product.
Performance site vulnerability analysis to ensure security and reduce the potential for
harm to people and communities we share.
Focus on employee’s health implementing global medical and health testing standard to
reduce serious illness in the workplace and related health care cost.
Oil penetrates in to the structure on the plumage of birds and the fur or mammals, reducing
its insulating ability, and making them more to the vulnerable to the temperature
fluctuations as much less buoyant in the water.
Animals who rely on secant to find their babies or mothers cannot due to the strong secant
of the oil. This causes babies to the rejected and abundant living the babies to eventually
die
4.2 Designfor costand environment
An ecological concerns spill of oil in sources may have economical matter in recreational
area tourism and fisheries industry
Thus foreign currency received less as today.
For example, near tajmahal India’s holy river Ganga is so pollute due to this politeness
tourism and tourist is unattractive to this places and thus foreign currency don’t
received finally this is inhabitants for the nation.
Most countries depend on oil. States will go to great lengths to acquire to an oil
production capability or to be assured access to the free flow of oil.
Although much of the world depends on the production of trade of oil to fuel its
economies, these activities can cause severe damage to environment, either knowingly or
unintentionally.
18. 18
Oil production, and/or transportation, can disrupt the human pollution, and the animal
and fish life of the region.
Oil waste dumping, production pollution, and spills wreak havoc on the surrounding
wildlife and habitat. It threatens the extinction of several plants, and has already harmed
many land, air, and sea animal and plant species.
Damage can include pollution of water resources and contamination of the soil. Humans
are effected by environmental devastation because it is damaging to vegetation, livestock,
and to the health of the human body itself.
Oil spills can interfere with the normal working of power stations and desalination plants
that require a continuous supply of clean sea water and with the safe operation of coastal
industries and ports.
Environmental damage can also be a result of conflict over oil-producing regions.
Environmental harm associated with oil resources can either be attributed to a side effect
of conflict, or, in some cases, it is associated with military aggression that is intended to
damage the natural resources of the region.

In this project following material or tools or equipment required.
The dimensions of tools and detail of tools are described as below.
Base plate length : 57cm
Base width: 25.5cm
Base plate thickness: 25mm
Boat thickness: 15mm
Boat length: 57cm
Boat height:12.5cm
Shut height: 50cm
Pole : 25cm
Storage container : 50ml
Battery voltage: 9v (2 no.)
Electric motor: 6v (3 no.)
LED : 12V
It only collect oil, don’t collect garbage like kerosene, plastic etc.
22. 22
When model is beginning at work and electric motor is start oil which is container is
collecting and transfer to the storage container.
With the help of this techniques save the aquatic animals and plants and live their life
long.
26. 26
First take a big container and fill up the container with the water and then the oil
is added with the water as required to beginning a model start(i.e.100ml)
Now in the mixture of water and oil the boat is placed upon the mixture. Start the
electric motor and which is bound with compact disc start revolving oil in the
water is stick in the compact disc and transform in to the storage containeeer.
When model will start working the oil of water is transformed in to the storage
container about 70-75%.
28. 28
This project is help to cleaning the water of sea from the oil and save the
aquatic animal and lives their life long.
To save the environmental conditions and human beings on plants.
