• A way of editing a piece of action while
keeping the film continuous and prevent
disorientating the viewers.
3. Match-On Action
• Match-On Action is a technique used to switch
angles at which the film looks on an action,
without skipping or replaying parts. It helps
keep the film continuous.
4. Shot/Reverse Shot
• This is when the camera switches from one
angle to another, mainly in conversations. The
camera will switch from a view on one
person’s face to another.
5. 180-Degree Rule
• The camera should not move more than 180’s
in a conversation. This means that when
playing the film, the characters will appear to
be looking at eachother.
