2. Director
• The director tells everybody in the team what to do, for
example they would tell the camera person what to film
and how to film it (zooming in and out). The director
also tells the performers what to do when
performing, for example in a music video where to stand.
Also he ensures the sets are right, controls the lighting
and has a say in the editing.
3. Camera Person
• A camera person would film the music video or whatever
needs filming. Another name for a camera person is a
camera operator and they are responsible for physically
operating the camera and maintaining composition and
camera angles throughout a given scene or shot. In this
setting, a camera operator is part of a film crew
consisting of the director of photography and one or
more camera assistants.
4. Sound Recording
• A Sound Recordists main job is to make sound
recordings of really good quality, free from interference
and all unwanted noise.
That sounds relatively straightforward, but can prove
very difficult, especially when recording a important
scene or interview near a main road or some where with
a loud background
5. Lighting
• A lighting director designs the lighting for multi-camera
television productions. They position the lights to where
they need to be for the shot, they are the people who
have to move the lights plug them in and make sure they
are all working properly and correctly. Eg: got the right
bulb in them. They do all this whilst working closely with
the director and the rest of the production team to
deliver the pictures they are hoping to see
