PERSONAL PROFILE
I am a married father of four children with a varied ‘Journeyman’work history
with construction & retail, and since moving to the Hawkes-Bay in 1990, manufacturing.
I have held predominantly leadership roles during the past twenty years of my working
life. While I have enjoyed my tenure working in an operational manufacturing
environment, I am now looking for new challenges and believe my tenure in different
industries brings a wide range of experience and skills which I have acquired over the
years that I have enhanced with formal tertiary, business & management skills that I can
apply in a wide variety of situations.
Whilst I have always honed my skills in manufacturing leadership roles at adding
value to the ‘bottom line’in the pursuit of profit, I also believe I have strong generic
interpersonal and communication skills that I can apply to any vocation. I understand the
importance of reliability and flexibility when in employment, and I value employer /
employee loyalty. I bring a mature outlook to all my jobs that I have undertaken over the
years and am always capable of adapting to any new challenge.
I am now looking to broaden my horizons in my evolving employment life with a
good skill-set of transferable skills, and apply my varied work experience to any
endeavour I undertake.
