3. 1. SORTING – sort out white clothes from colored ones, less soiled from the dirtier
ones.
2. SOAKING – soak the sorted clothes in clean water.
3. SOAPING – soap clothes according to the type of fabric and degree of being
soiled.
4. RINSING – rinse the soaped clothes.
5. DRYING – hang the clothes spins to hang your clothes and to prevent them from
falling.
• STAIN – is a discoloration a spot or a blot in the fabric that is clearly seen from the
surface of clothes.

4. 1. Rust – put calamansi juice and salt on the spot of stain and let it dry under the sun. Repeat several
times until the stain is removed.
2. Ink – rinse in cold water before washing with soap. Put calamansi juice and salt on the stain. Let it
dry.
3. Paint – rub the stained spot with cotton and turpentine.
4. Blood – Soak stained spot immediately in cold water for about two hours. Wash in lukewarm water
and soap. Rinse well and dry.
5. Chewing gum – If the chewing gum has already hardened on the cloth, use a sharp knife blade to
scrape it. Wash with lukewarm water and soap afterward. Rinse well and dry.
6. Chocolate or Coffee – Wash stained spot with soap and water. Use calamansi, lemon or kamias
extract to remove the stains.
7. Urine – Wash in a basin of water with vinegar until the stain is removed.

1. Prepare the ironing board, flat iron, and sprayer.
2. Damper clothes for hours before ironing. Roll the place in a container.
3. Plug the flat iron and set required temperature according to the kind of fabric of the
clothes going to iron nylon cloth, set the timer to the nylon setting.
4. For colored such as polo shirts and blouses, iron on the reverse side of the collar first.
5.Turn off the flat iron as soon you are done ironing clothes. Make sure to un plug it lso.
6. Hang the ironed clothes.
