1. Summary I own Language Explore which provides services in academic research,
translation and editing works in English, Arabic and Malay since 1996.
I am also a licensed Islamic teacher in Selangor and Wilayah Persekutuan. I
teach and give advice on the analysis and application of the hadith, Islamic
theology, comparative theological and legal schools, sufism, ethics,
governance and history.
I am a life-long learner of the Arabic language and its different sub-fields,
the Qur'an, the Sciences of the Qur'an and its exegesis, the books and the
sciences of the hadith, Islamic jurisprudence, Islamic creed and Sufism. I
have accumulated much of these knowledge via the traditional learning
circles (halaqat al-‘ilm) since my teens including a one-year sojourn at
Pondok Penanti, Madrasah Manabi‘ul-‘Uloom, Penang.
I topped my class with CGPA 4.00 in the first batch of the Diploma in
Shariah program from Universiti Malaya, have a Diploma in General
Translation (Institut Terjemahan Negara Malaysia) and a Diploma in
Arabic Language (Institut Pengajian Ilmu-Ilmu Islam). I also hold an MBA
from the University of Ballarat (Federation University Australia) after
obtaining an Advanced Diploma in Business Management from Swansea
Institute of Higher Education (University of Wales Trinity Saint David).

2. Language Explore 1996 - Present
focus is on belief and practices as deduced from the main sources of Islam as embraced
by the mainstream Sunni scholars.
I gave lectures on Integrity & Governance for the Road & Transport Department
Malaysia and on Comparative Civilisation in the Advanced Islamic Thought Program at
Institut Latihan Islam Malaysia (2009); taught an elective subject, Muslim Professionals
at the International Islamic University Malaysia (2007); participated in the students’
induction programs at UiTM, USIM and KPTM (2008-2009) and was an Islamic teacher
at the Australian International School Malaysia (2006-2008) and Nexus International
School, Putrajaya (2007). For 19 years (1993-2012), I tutored blind students at the St.
John's Institution, Kuala Lumpur.

on the Islamic financial market. Published reading materials includes a trilingual
International Shariah Scholars Dialogue for the Institute of Islamic Banking & Finance
