 Qutb-ud-din Ahmad, popularly known as 
shah Wali Allah. 
 Was born in 1114/1703. 
 Shah wahi Ullah a great saint, thinker, 
Muhadis, theologian, translator, scholar and 
reformer.
 Shah Wali Ullah received his early education 
in spiritualism and mysticism from his father. 
 He received education in Tafsir, Hadis and 
acquired spiritual discipline. 
 He also studied metaphysics, logic and Ilm-ul- 
kalam. 
 His father transferred the Bulla and Irshad to 
him at his death bed and said “his hand is my 
hand”.
 In the year 1731 he went to Arabia for higher 
studies and performing Haj. 
 Studying hadith and Fiqha under such 
distinguished scholars as Abu tahiral al- 
Kurdi al- Madaini. Wafq Allah al-Makkin 
and Taj al-Din al- Qall. 
 During his stay at makkah Shah Wali Ullah 
saw a vision.

other knowledge originate from it. 
 Shah Wali Ullah attached great importance to 
the reign of Ijtehad,

between God and man and universe.

conjure the universe. 
 To give knowledge about the establishment 
and development of the society. 
 To give awareness about the relationship 
between individual and society. 
 To develop an ability of self-realization.
 To give student the training of social ethics 
and social responsibilities. 
 To create the feeling of co-operation and 
sympathy among student.

 To develop such awareness that the student 
could understand the international 
relationship and think without considering 
the color, race and language.
 To make students responsible citizens. 
 To enable students to digress the weakness of 
society (wrong deed of the society) and try to 
control or vanish. These weaknesses or wrong 
deeds. 
 To develop a desire to obey GOD.
 He was a great educationist. 
 He was interested in Hadith. 
 Known as MUHADITH. 
 First to translate the Holy Quran.

Shah Walli Ullah's Detail

  • 2.  Qutb-ud-din Ahmad, popularly known as shah Wali Allah.  Was born in 1114/1703.  Shah wahi Ullah a great saint, thinker, Muhadis, theologian, translator, scholar and reformer.
  • 3.  Shah Wali Ullah received his early education in spiritualism and mysticism from his father.  He received education in Tafsir, Hadis and acquired spiritual discipline.  He also studied metaphysics, logic and Ilm-ul- kalam.  His father transferred the Bulla and Irshad to him at his death bed and said “his hand is my hand”.
  • 4.  In the year 1731 he went to Arabia for higher studies and performing Haj.  Studying hadith and Fiqha under such distinguished scholars as Abu tahiral al- Kurdi al- Madaini. Wafq Allah al-Makkin and Taj al-Din al- Qall.  During his stay at makkah Shah Wali Ullah saw a vision.
  • 5. The Holy Quran Fiqh or Islamic Jurisprudence, works based on mysticism works on Muslim philosophy andI lm-al- Kalam. works on Shia- Sunni problem Hadith (Traditions)

  • 7.  According to him the real source of knowledge is Revealed knowledge, and all other knowledge originate from it.  Shah Wali Ullah attached great importance to the reign of Ijtehad,
  • 8.  To give awareness about the relationship between God and man and universe.  To develop the ability among student to conjure the universe.  To give knowledge about the establishment and development of the society.  To give awareness about the relationship between individual and society.  To develop an ability of self-realization.
  • 9.  To give student the training of social ethics and social responsibilities.  To create the feeling of co-operation and sympathy among student.  To make student patriotic.  To develop such awareness that the student could understand the international relationship and think without considering the color, race and language.
  • 10.  To make students responsible citizens.  To enable students to digress the weakness of society (wrong deed of the society) and try to control or vanish. These weaknesses or wrong deeds.  To develop a desire to obey GOD.
  • 11.  He was a great educationist.  He was interested in Hadith.  Known as MUHADITH.  First to translate the Holy Quran.  Prepared syllabus for Islamic Institutions.
  • 12. Then study Muwatta of Imam Malik Study of Hadith

  • 14.  Prepared lectures sciences Islamic disciplines provided guidance  Train one particular people for buildup of a universal Shariat.  Limited to the lessons of Hadith.  Focused on metaphysics and writing.  Trained students different branches of Islamic knowledge. Assigned methods of teachings.
  • 15.  He focused Socialistic Aspects of that time Economical  Analyzed factors responsible Degeneration of Muslim society What is it?  He is known as Omen of KARL MARX. Or Who is it?

  • 20.  Started teaching at the Madrasa-e-Rahimiyya.  Taught twelve years in the critical period of Muslims.  Quranic education for the welfare of the Muslims of subcontinent.  He translated the Holy Quran into Persian, In order to spread teachings of Islam.  Teaching hadith literature and metaphysics and writing.
  • 21.  His philosophical interpretation caused the resurgence of Islamic revivalism.  He started a movement to strengthen the Muslims for political makeup.  He wrote his philosophies in Arabic and Persian, he wanted upper class to understand.  Muslim could find salvation only by understanding Quran and Hadith.
  • 22.  Torchbearer for Muslims.  Responsible for awakening Muslim community.  Reformed the social and political order.  Continued his struggles till it flowered in to the birth of Pakistan. 
